The history goes back to 2014 when IT investors from Umeå (Sweden) acquired the majority in Winpos Oy located in Vasa and Helsinki (Finland) from the founders that been working with POS software and Winpos Oy since 1997.
With new management and owners together with former founders a new strategy and focus began, from small customers to SME and working cross-border in the Nordics.
The new strategy went well, first onboard was Espresso House Group AB with operations in all Nordic countries and also in Germany after this came Jungle Juice Bar, after came Tallink Grupp that made the operations wider and now includes the Baltics.
During 2017 Winpos Group made a joint venture deal with Carus located on the Åland Islands with operations worldwide and offices in UK, Spain and US providing world leading booking & reservation system for ferry and cruise operators.
2018 Winpos Group acquired 100% of the shares in Carus and they became a subsidiary to the Group.
Since 2019 the Group as we say “OurGroup” are operating in nine countries and customers in twenty countries with customers as Burger King, FjordLines, Alaska Marine, Baja Ferries, Espresso House, ELISA and more.
